About Us
GW Women’s Club Volleyball is made up of around 30 women from across The George Washington University, from freshmen to grad students, who share a love for competitive volleyball. We play in weekend tournaments throughout the mid-Atlantic and are part of the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF), competing annually in the NCVF Collegiate Club Volleyball Championships. Off the court, we stay involved through fundraising events with local restaurants and organizations in the DMV area.
Tryouts
We hold tryouts at the start of each fall semester. Selections are based on skill level, experience, position, and overall commitment to the team. While we typically look for players with high school or club volleyball backgrounds to maintain a competitive level of play, we also offer practice player spots in addition to our 30 full-time members.
